Sikandra Fort houses the tomb of Akbar. It is a unique blend of the Hindu and the Muslim styles of architectures. It is truly a union of spiritualism and art. Jama Masjid was built by Emperor Shah Jahan in the year 1648 and was dedicated to his daughter Jehanara Begum. Special prominence is attached to the mosque because the Iranian elements of architecture have been incorporated.
